Breaking in new disc brake pads extends their lifespan considerably! Keep the brake lever slightly pulled while you drive and make sure that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a little harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure that your new brake pads are properly braked.
