We provide a 6-month warranty on all Bakfix products. The statutory Dutch warranty period applies to all other products.
This warranty applies only to defects in parts and workmanship under normal use of the products.
Cargo bike rain tents:
6 months on tears in the fabric and on the zipper.
There is no warranty on the window film of the cargo bike tents and all other production. Only when stated within 1 week of purchase.
Once we have determined that the product or bicycle is under warranty, we will contact you and discuss various options, which may include replacing the product or refunding the invoice amount.
Items eligible for repair or replacement must be delivered to our location. You can deliver the product personally or send it to us. Please note that the shipping costs are at your own expense and that the shipping is at your own risk. When sending in the product, make sure that you always include a document containing the order number, the reason for the warranty request and your name and address details.

Please use our contact form to provide the following information: the order number, a detailed description of the problem and photos of the damage. We will process your warranty claim within 2 working days. After evaluating the problem, we will contact you by email.

If the damage is not the result of transportation, such as a scratch on the product while the packaging is intact, please contact us immediately.

Bakfix.nl uses the standard factory warranty; this warranty is brand specific. We therefore apply the warranty provision as determined by the manufacturers. You must report any problems that are covered by the warranty to us in writing by e-mail. Detailed information about the warranty can be found in the general terms and conditions. Within the warranty period, if there is a problem with your bicycle or item, we will be given the opportunity to assess and/or solve the problem. No compensation will be given for assessment, final assembly, repairs elsewhere or travel and time costs. When it has been demonstrated that the bicycle or product is within the warranty, the problem will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible at the expense of Bakfix.nl. Damage or injury caused by defects will not be reimbursed by us.

If you have not received your order or have received it incompletely, please contact customer service. In both cases, send an email to customer service with an explanation of what exactly is missing and the order number of the order.
Do you have a complaint about the service or about a missed order? We always do our utmost, but an error can occur. Of course we find that very annoying. In order to handle your complaint, we kindly ask you to submit the complaint via the contact form.
As soon as we have received your complaint, you will receive a confirmation of receipt from us. We will process the complaint within 14 days of receipt. We need this time to handle your complaint properly. In some cases we may need more time, we will also inform you of this.
